Job summary

New Salem Surgery Center in Murfreesboro is seeking a PRN PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse to join our multispecialty team. This role offers a flexible schedule with no weekends, holidays, or on-call duties, allowing you to contribute to patient care as needed.

The RN will perform preoperative assessments, monitor PACU patients, administer medications, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe outcomes. The position requires TN RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS and ACLS Required, PALS if required by the center.
• 2 years of experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
