Job summary

United Surgical Partners International Inc (USPI) is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Hospital team in Sugar Land, TX. The role covers 1–2 days per week, 6:00am–1:00pm, supporting Preop and perioperative care with a focus on patient safety and efficient team collaboration.

The ideal candidate is a licensed RN, with 1–3 years in Preop or ER/pre-op settings, BLS/ALS/PALS certificates, and solid knowledge of aseptic technique and surgical procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered nurse with an unrestricted license in the state.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 1–3 years of Preop experience; ER or Pre-Op experience required.
• Current BLS, ALS and PALS certifications.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
• Ability to adapt to changing patient conditions and communicate effectively with staff, patients and physicians.

Required Skills

Qualifications:

• Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state
• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Must have at least 1-3 years' previous experience in Preop
• Hospital ER or Pre-Op experience required
• Must have current BLS, ALS and PALS
• Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
