Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc in Sugar Land, TX is seeking a PRN RN to support 1 or 2 days per week from 6:00am to 1:00pm in our award-winning Surgical Hospital. You will join a collaborative team and provide high-quality preoperative care.

The role requires an unrestricted RN license in Texas, current BLS, ALS and PALS, and experience in Preop or perioperative settings. ER or Pre-Op backgrounds are preferred, and strong communication with staff, patients, and physicians is

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Must have at least 1-3 years' previous experience in Preop.
• Hospital ER or Pre-Op experience required.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.

Required Skills:

• Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state
• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Must have at least 1-3 years' previous experience in Preop
• Hospital ER or Pre-Op experience required
• Must have current BLS, ALS and PALS
• Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
