Job summary

Westminster Surgery Center is seeking a motivated PRN Pre-OP PACU Registered Nurse to join our team. The RN provides perioperative care in a fast-paced ASC, delivering patient-family centered services across multiple specialties and reporting to Peri-operative Services management.

Qualified candidates will have an unrestricted RN license, 1–3 years in PreOP/PACU, and BLS/ALS/PALS. We value teamwork, adaptability, and strong communication with staff, physicians, and patients.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Must have 1-3 years' previous PreOP/PACU experience.
• Ambulatory surgical center experience strongly preferred.
• Must have current BLS, ALS and PALS.
• Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient; strong teamwork and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care using the nursing process and plan of care.
• Deliver safe, effective perioperative care in the PreOP/PACU for diverse populations.
• Support the mission and report to the Manager of Peri‑operative Services.

Job Summary

The PRN Pre-op/PACU Nurse is a Registered Nurse that provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The RN Pre-op/PACU provides safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the perioperative services for all patient populations. The RN Pre-op/PACU supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization. The RN Pre-op/PACU reports to the Manager of Peri-operative Services.

Experienced in supporting in the following specialties: Orthopedics, ENT, General, GI, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Pain, Plastic, Podiatry, Urology.

Pay range- Min: $40.90 - Max: $50.00/hour

(Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.)
