Westminster Surgery Center is seeking a motivated PRN Pre-Op PACU Registered Nurse to join our fast-paced ASC environment. The RN provides safe, effective perioperative care and supports the mission and values of the organization.

Experience in ambulatory surgery centers is preferred; must hold an unrestricted RN license and current BLS/ALS/PALS. We offer a range of benefits and a collaborative team culture at Westminster Surgery Center.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 1–3 years' PreOP/PACU experience preferred.
• Current BLS, ALS and PALS required.
• Knowledge of surgical procedures and aseptic technique.
• Strong communication and teamwork to coordinate care.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality perioperative nursing care in Pre-op PACU using nursing process and plan of care.
• Ensure patient-family centered care across perioperative services.
• Support operations in Orthopedics, ENT, General, GI, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Pain, Plastic, Podiatry, Urology.

Westminster Surgery Center seeking a PRN PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse. Westminster Surgery Center is seeking a motivated PRN Pre-OP PACU Registered Nurse to join our team. Job Summary

The PRN Pre-op/PACU Nurse is a Registered Nurse that provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The RN Pre-op/PACU provides safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the perioperative services for all patient populations. The RN Pre-op/PACU supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization. The RN Pre-op/PACU reports to the Manager of Peri-operative Services.

Experienced in supporting in the following specialties: Orthopedics, ENT, General, GI, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Pain, Plastic, Podiatry, Urology.

Pay range- Min: $40.90 - Max: $50.00/hour

(Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual's qualifications and experience.)

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state
• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Must have at least 1-3 years' previous experience in PreOP/PACU
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred
• Must have current BLS, ALS and PALS
• Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
