Job summary

MainStreet Family Care is seeking a PRN Physician Assistant to support multiple clinics in the Clayton, NC region. This role offers flexible shifts and an opportunity to work across urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine.

The PA will perform minor procedures, review X-ray with a radiologist, and provide care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced environment. Prior PA certification and a master’s degree or higher are required.

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant certification required prior to start date.
• Master’s degree or higher required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• EMR and Microsoft Office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine.
• Minor procedures including toenail removals and foreign body removals.
• Suturing and splinting.
• General orthopedic evaluations and management.
• X-ray review (with Radiologist over-read).
• EKG interpretation.
• General dermatology, eye complaints, and GYN care.
• Treating patients of all ages.
• Emergency management skills in a fast-paced setting.
