Job summary

MainStreet Family Care is seeking a PRN Physician Assistant in Cherryville, NC to support multiple clinics with a fast-paced, high-volume workload.

The role offers variety across urgent care, primary care, orthopedics and telemedicine, along with opportunities to perform minor procedures and radiology over-reads. New grads encouraged to apply; comprehensive benefits and CME allowances are provided.

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant certification required prior to start date.
• Master's degree or higher required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• EMR and Microsoft Office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine.
• Minor procedures including toenail removals and foreign body removals.
• Suturing and splinting.
• General orthopedic evaluations and management.
• X-ray review with Radiologist over-read.
• EKG interpretation.
• General dermatology, eye complaints, and GYN-care.
• Treating patients of all ages.
• Emergency management skills in a fast-paced setting.
