MainStreet Family Care is seeking a PRN Physician Assistant to support multiple clinics in the Kinston, NC region. The role offers variety across urgent and primary care, telemedicine, and minor procedures, with flexible scheduling and a dynamic team environment.

Ideal candidates hold PA certification and a Master’s degree, with strong communication skills. Perks include malpractice insurance, CME allowance, and mileage reimbursement. Per diem opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant certification required prior to start date.
• Master’s degree or higher required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• EMR and Microsoft Office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine.
• Minor procedures including toenail removals and foreign body removals.
• Suturing and splinting.
• General orthopedic evaluations and management.
• X-ray review (with Radiologist over-read).
• EKG interpretation.
• General dermatology, eye complaints, and GYN care.
• Treating patients of all ages.
• Emergency management skills in a fast-paced setting.
