MainStreet Family Care is seeking a PRN Physician Assistant to support multiple clinics across Tarboro, NC and surrounding region. The role offers flexible shifts, a fast-paced urgent care environment, and a chance to maintain full clinical skills with varied case mix.

Ideal candidates enjoy teamwork across sites, appreciate variety, and are open to new grads as well. The position emphasizes high-volume care, with opportunities for professional growth and schedule flexibility.

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant certification required prior to start date.
• Master’s degree or higher required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• EMR and Microsoft Office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine
• Minor procedures including toenail removals and foreign body removals
• Suturing and splinting
• General orthopedic evaluations and management
• X-ray review (with Radiologist over-read)
• EKG interpretation
• General dermatology, eye complaints, and GYN care
• Treating patients of all ages
• Emergency management skills in a fast-paced setting
