Job summary

MainStreet Family Care is seeking a PRN Physician Assistant to support multiple Winston-Salem clinics. The role emphasizes urgent and primary care across diverse settings, including telemedicine, with a mix of urgent care and seasonal coverage.

The ideal candidate holds PA certification, a master’s degree or higher, and strong communication skills. Flexible shifts are offered, with full orientation and ongoing training provided.

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant certification required prior to start date.
• Master’s degree or higher required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• EMR and Microsoft Office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine.
• Perform minor procedures: toenail removals and foreign body removals.
• Suturing and splinting.
• General orthopedic evaluations and management.
• X-ray review with Radiologist over-read.
• EKG interpretation.
• General dermatology, eye complaints, and GYN care.
• Treat patients of all ages.
• Emergency management in fast-paced setting.
