Job summary

Reliant Management is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support a supervising Physical Therapist in delivering comprehensive rehabilitation services in Campbell, CA. This PRN role focuses on implementing treatment plans, administering modalities, and training patients for home exercises.

The PTA will document progress, ensure safety, and collaborate with families and staff to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited PTA program.
• In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
• Ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Administer and implement treatment plans as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist, including exercises and gait training.
• Apply therapeutic modalities such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation.
• Instruct and assist patients in safe use of devices like crutches, canes, walkers, and wheelchairs.
• Observe, document, and report patient progress and changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients and families on follow-up home exercise programs and care techniques.
• Keep the treatment area clean, safe, and stocked with supplies and equipment.
• Assist with clerical duties such as answering phones and scheduling appointments.
• Adhere to confidentiality and safety protocols and other professional guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor and/or Manager.
