Job summary

Reliant Management is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support a Physical Therapist in delivering comprehensive rehab treatments in a clinical setting in California. The PTA will implement care plans, monitor progress, and ensure a safe, efficient environment for patient recovery and outcomes.

The role requires graduation from an accredited PTA program and an active state license, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced team. Full-time and PRN options are available.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited PTA program.
• Current physical therapy license for state of operation.
• Ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Administer and implement treatment plans as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Apply modalities such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation.
• Instruct and assist patients with crutches, canes, walkers, and wheelchairs.
• Observe, document and report patient progress to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and care techniques.
• Maintain a safe, clean and stocked treatment area.
• Assist with phones, scheduling, and forms as needed.
• Adhere to confidentiality and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
• The duties listed are not exclusive; management may reassign duties as needed.
