Kindred Hospital - San Francisco Bay Area is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our PRN team. The PTA provides physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, assisting in restoring function and improving mobility.

The position emphasizes teamwork, strong communication, and a patient-focused approach to support rehabilitation goals. Eligible candidates must hold PTA licensure and CPR certification, with relevant rehab experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from a PTA program is required.
• Current PTA license in state of practice.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administer physical therapy interventions under the supervising PT.
• Assist patient mobility and exercise routines.
• Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Ensure a safe and clean treatment environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Team-oriented and patient-focused with strong communication skills.
