Job summary

Reliant Management is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support the supervising PT in providing treatments for patients with injuries or impairments. The PTA will implement care plans, monitor progress, and help create a safe rehabilitation environment.

The role includes administering therapies, guiding patients in home exercises, and assisting with scheduling, documentation, and compliance with safety and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited PTA program.
• Current physical therapy license for state of operation and good standing with regulatory agencies.
• Ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Administer and implement treatment plans as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Apply therapeutic modalities such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation.
• Instruct patients in the safe and proper use of crutches, canes, walkers, and wheelchairs.
• Observe and report patient progress to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and care techniques.
• Maintain a clean, safe treatment area and assist with clerical duties as needed.
