Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group's Autumn Care of Biscoe in North Carolina is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to support residents in a skilled nursing setting. You will implement therapy plans, guide residents through exercises, and help restore mobility and independence under the supervision of licensed therapists.

PRN opportunities available with shifts that vary by need. Eligible candidates must have an Associate's Degree in PTA and an active NC license, with basic computer skills

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate’s Degree in a Physical Therapy Assistant program from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant within the state in which you work.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including service delivery software and the electronic health record software.

Responsibilities

• Return residents to optimal physical function and facilitate achievement of patient and therapy goals in a SNF setting.
• Instruct patients in maintaining achieved level of function after discharge through education, independent exercise program, and activity modification.
