Saber Healthcare Group is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to help residents regain function in a skilled nursing facility setting. You will work to meet patient and physician goals, empowering patients through education and tailored exercise plans.

Qualifications include an Associate’s Degree in PTA and an active state license; basic computer skills and facility software experience are expected. PRN opportunities with varying shifts are available at attractive facilities.

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate’s Degree in a Physical Therapy Assistant program from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant within the state in which you work.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including service delivery software and the electronic health record software.

Responsibilities

• Return residents to optimal physical function and facilitate achievement of patient, physician, and therapy goals in a SNF setting.
• Instruct the patient in maintaining achieved level of function after discharge through education, independent exercise program, and appropriate activity modification.
