Saber Healthcare Group in Waynesville, NC is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to help residents regain function in a skilled nursing facility. You'll work to achieve therapy goals through education, exercise programs, and activity modification.

Requires an Associate’s Degree in PTA, an active NC PTA license, and basic computer skills to use EHR and service delivery software. PRN opportunities; shifts vary; HR to confirm facility-specific benefit plans.

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate’s Degree in a Physical Therapy Assistant program from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant within the state in which you work.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including service delivery software and the electronic health record software.

• The primary purpose of your job is to return residents to optimal physical function and facilitate achievement of patient, physician, and therapy goals in a SNF setting.
• Instruct the patient in maintaining achieved level of function after discharge through education, independent exercise program, and appropriate activity modification.
