Ayden Healthcare of Wauseon is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) PRN to join our skilled nursing facility team. You will work closely with licensed physical therapists to implement treatment plans and support patient mobility.

Ideal candidates hold an associate degree in PTA, valid state licensure, and experience in SNF or outpatient settings. You will educate patients and families, document care, and help with discharge planning while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or certification as a PTA.
• Experience in outpatient clinics, SNFs, or home health preferred.
• Knowledge of patient care techniques and rehabilitation practices.
• Strong communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team with compassion and empathy.
• Familiarity with discharge planning and individualized care plans a plus.

Responsabilités

• Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans.
• Conduct patient assessments and monitor progress.
• Support patients in performing therapeutic exercises to improve strength, flexibility and mobility.
