Job summary

Hireology is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehab team in Mineral Wells, Texas on a PRN basis. You will administer prescribed therapies, support mobility and function under the supervision of a PT, and contribute to positive resident outcomes.

You will document care, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and educate patients and families while maintaining compliance with state and company policies.

Qualifications

• Current Texas PTA license in good standing.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility or long-term care preferred.
• Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System is a plus.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments under PT supervision.
• Provide skilled PT services and interventions per physician orders under PT supervision.
• Respond to service requests by relaying information and referrals to the Physical Therapist.
• Implement and modify patients' plans of care under PT supervision.
• Measure and document motor function, strength, and performance.
• Monitor patient response and adjust interventions with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide clinical support and education to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Ensure thorough, timely documentation compliant with policies and regulations.
• Attend required rehab department meetings.
