Job summary

Rockwood Manor in Midland, TX is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehab team on a PRN basis. You will provide person-centered care to help residents improve mobility, strength, and quality of life under supervision of a Physical Therapist.

The ideal candidate holds a Texas PTA license, has SNF or long-term care experience preferred, and is comfortable with Net Health documentation. Competitive pay and flexible scheduling available.

Qualifications

• Compassionate PTA delivering resident-centered rehab under PT supervision.
• Experience in SNF or long-term care preferred.
• Knowledge of documentation using Net Health system.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed PT treatments to relieve pain and improve function.
• Provide skilled PT services under PT supervision.
• Relay service requests and referrals to the PT.
• Implement and modify care plans under PT supervision.
• Measure motor function, strength and muscle performance.
• Monitor responses and adjust approaches with interdisciplinary team.
• Educate patients, family, and caregivers.
• Ensure timely, compliant documentation.
• Attend required rehab department meetings.
