Job summary

West Village Post Acute in Greenville, SC, is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for PRN shifts. You will work under a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality therapy services aimed at improving mobility, strength, and independence for residents.

Role requires PTA licensure in South Carolina, with experience in SNF/rehab settings preferred. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for collaborating with an interdisciplinary team and ensuring quality patient

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Active, unencumbered PTA license in South Carolina.
• Maintain all continuing education and stay in good standing with the State Board.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred.
• Familiarity with PCC and Casamba.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with established therapy plans.
• Assist residents with exercises to improve mobility, strength and function.
• Monitor progress and report updates to the Physical Therapist.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Support a positive, safe, and organized therapy environment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize outcomes.
