MedStar Health seeks a PRN Physical Therapist to join MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. You will evaluate and treat patients per PT standards, educate patients and families, and collaborate with physicians and care teams to support discharge planning.

The role offers flexible schedules, one-on-one patient visits, and opportunities within a large health system recognized for quality care in the Baltimore-Washington region.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in physical therapy
• 1-2 years related clinical practice experience in an acute care or rehabilitation setting
• DC license or eligible for DC license
• BLS completed

Responsabilidades

• Provides direct PT evaluations and re-evaluations, including assessment of prior and current level of functioning, setting goals and discharge planning.
• Provides direct PT treatments according to standards of practice with patient and family education.
• Coordinates and prioritizes own schedule in relation to patient treatment demands.
• Maintains equipment and adheres to department policies and regulations.

Educación

Bachelor's degree in physical therapy

1-2 years related clinical practice experience

APTA - Physical Therapy Current D.C. license
