MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Maryland is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to participate in evaluation and treatment of patients based on PT principles. The role involves direct PT evaluations, treatments, patient and family education, and collaboration with physicians and care teams.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, 1-2 years of related clinical practice in acute care or rehab, current DC license or eligibility, and BLS.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in physical therapy.
• 1–2 years of related clinical practice in acute care or rehabilitation.
• DC license or eligibility to practice PT in DC.
• BLS certification.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct PT evaluations and treatments per standards of practice.
• Collaborate with physicians and health care teams for progress and discharge planning.
• Coordinate and prioritize your schedule in patient care.
• Demonstrate proper use and maintenance of department equipment.
• Maintain CEUs and comply with health regulations and safety.
