Michigan Medicine seeks a contingent/PRN Physical Therapist on the Medical-Surgical Acute Care team. The position entails evaluating and treating patients using physical modalities and exercises, interpreting prescriptions, and developing personalized treatment plans.

A Michigan Physical Therapy license is required, with a Bachelor's degree and clinical internship. Master’s or DPT is preferred. Hybrid or mobile/remote work may be available at the department’s discretion.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and completion of a clinical internship are necessary.
• A current Michigan Physical Therapy license is necessary.
• This Classification requires registration, certification, or licensure with the appropriate agency as identified on the Primary Source Verification Matrix.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate and treat patients with diseases, injuries, disorders, and disabilities using physical modalities and exercises.
• Interpret prescriptions and develop treatment plans.
• Instruct patients in home exercise programs.
