Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical and functional status, including strength, motor function, reflexes and ambulation.
• Perform evaluations with sensory tests, manual muscle tests, ROM exams and other techniques.
• Develop short and long-term therapy goals and create treatment plans aligned with those goals.
• Administer therapies including therapeutic exercise, gait training, functional training, modalities and devices.
• Document patient progress and communicate with physicians and care team.
• Educate patients and families on care and home exercise programs.
• Participate in discharge planning and coordination with care team.
