Centre for Neuro Skills in Austin, TX is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist (PRN) to support individuals with acquired brain injuries and other neurological diagnoses. You will design and implement personalized treatment plans to improve mobility, reduce pain, and promote independence.

Responsibilities include evaluations, vestibular rehabilitation, home programs, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifikationen

• Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of employment.
• Membership in APTA is desirable.

Aufgaben

• Initiate and Maintain Therapeutic Programs: Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals.
• Conduct Evaluations: Administer initial evaluations, identify impairments, and use outcome measures to guide treatment.
• Implement Treatment Programs: Provide therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, home evaluations with recommendations, and equip patients with home programs.
• Provide Pain Relief: Use modalities and manual techniques to relieve pain and improve comfort.
• Program Management: Monitor patient progress and update plans through interim evaluations.
• Supervise and Guide: Instruct clinic aides and supervise students.
• Reporting and Communication: Maintain records and coordinate with patients, families, and insurance.
