Centre for Neuro Skills is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist in Irving, TX. The role focuses on rehabilitation for acquired brain injuries and neurological conditions, with a path to impact patients’ mobility, independence, and quality of life.

You will develop personalized treatment plans, conduct thorough evaluations, and supervise clinic aides while collaborating with families and insurance providers to guide patient progress and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of employment.
• Membership in APTA is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and Maintain Therapeutic Programs: Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals.
• Conduct Evaluations: Administer initial evaluations, identify primary impairments, and use appropriate outcome measures to create effective treatment plans.
• Implement Treatment Programs: Provide therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, home evaluations with recommendations, orthotic and assistive device recommendations, and therapeutic home programs.
• Provide Pain Relief: Use modalities such as hot packs, cold packs, neuromuscular stim units, transcutaneous nerve stimulation units, and massage to relieve pain.
• Program Management: Continuously check on patient progress to ensure effectiveness and update programs as needed.
• Supervise and Guide: Instruct clinic aides, supervise students, and share expertise.
• Reporting and Communication: Maintain accurate records and communicate with patients, families, insurers, and other therapists.
