Job summary

Rehab Solutions is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for PRN work in our Home Health division serving Topeka and Lawrence, KS. The PTA will support treatment plans and provide direct patient care in diverse settings.

You will collaborate with Physical Therapists and health care teams, document progress, and contribute to high-quality patient outcomes while enjoying flexible scheduling and a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
• Valid Kansas state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists.
• Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications.
• Monitor and document patient progress, and educate patients and families on treatment protocols.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.

• Skills: Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
