Job summary

Rehab Solutions in Pittsburg, KS is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for PRN work in our Home Health division. You will assist with therapy plans and deliver direct patient care under Physical Therapists to support recovery and functional goals.

We value compassionate care, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and flexible scheduling to meet patient needs. Required: Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assisting and valid state licensure or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program is required or eligibility.
• Must hold valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant or be license-eligible.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists.
• Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications.
• Monitor and document patient progress, and educate patients on treatment protocols and self-care techniques.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists, other healthcare professionals, and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
• Licensure: Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible.
• Skills: Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
