What you will do in this role:

• Provide quality, compassionate care in a team setting within a secure environment
• Assist the Physical Therapist by implementing the patient's Care Plan for rehabilitation. Support patients with mental and/or physical impairments to participate in tasks that restore, reinforce, and enhance their performance
• Communicate patient progress or issues to supervisors and team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records
• Document patient care in compliance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting standards
• Instruct patients' families or nursing staff in follow-through programs
• Maintain equipment and work areas in a safe, clean condition
• Perform job responsibilities in accordance with the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, professional standards, and applicable laws
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program culminating in an Associate Degree
• Current state licensure as a PTA or equivalent in states where services are provided
• CPR certification (as required)
• Successful history of joint-venture partnerships and management agreements, working effectively with hospitals to meet patient needs, maintain employee satisfaction, and achieve quality outcomes. Dedicated to delivering value to partners and patients.
