What you will do in this role:

1. Provide quality, compassionate care in a team environment within a secure setting.
2. Assist the Physical Therapist by implementing the patient's Care Plan for rehabilitation. Support mentally and physically impaired patients in participating in tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance their performance.
3. Communicate patient progress or issues to supervisors and team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records.
4. Accurately document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements.
5. Instruct patients' families or nursing staff in follow-through programs.
6. Maintain equipment and work area in a safe, clean condition.
7. Adhere to the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, professional standards, and applicable laws.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program culminating in an Associate Degree.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) or equivalent in the states where services are provided.
• CPR certification (if required).
