Job summary

Powdersville Post Acute in Easley, SC seeks a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis. Under a licensed PT, you will deliver skilled therapy to help residents improve mobility, strength, and independence.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited PTA program, maintains SC PTA licensure, and brings solid documentation, communication, and collaboration skills to the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care preferred.
• Experience with PCC and Casamba preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Implement individualized treatment plans based on physician orders and therapy goals.
• Monitor resident progress and communicate changes to the Physical Therapist.
• Document treatment sessions, resident responses, and progress notes accurately and timely.
• Assist with discharge planning and caregiver education.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members to achieve positive resident outcomes.
