Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist-Hospitals to join our team in Stoneham MA. Schedule: Monday–Friday 7:30 am–2:00 pm with rotating weekends. You will perform blood collections, collect specimens, and ensure accurate data entry, supporting high-quality patient care.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and phlebotomy certification or training, or 1+ year experience. Preferred: 2+ years inpatient phlebotomy and LabCorp experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• 2+ years experience as an inpatient phlebotomist preferred.
• Current or Previous LabCorp experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
