Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist PRN to join our team in Durham, NC. This role performs blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, collects specimens for tests, and maintains accurate patient data and logs. Travel to additional sites may be required.

The position emphasizes exceptional customer service, accurate data entry, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment. PST incentive may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests and alcohol tests.
• Enter patient information accurately in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
