Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Burlington, NC. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups and travel to additional sites when needed.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training, or 3 months experience. This role offers flexible, part-time scheduling with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification or training preferred; or 3+ months experience as phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when necessary.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide excellent customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
