Job summary

Labcorp in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform blood collections, prepare specimens for testing, and maintain accurate patient data. This PRN/per diem role requires a high school diploma and offers the chance to work with diverse patient populations in a dynamic clinical environment.

You will provide excellent customer service, handle data entry, and may travel to additional sites as needed. Prior phlebotomy experience or certification is preferred but not always required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program, or 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
