Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work at Racine, WI. This PRN/Per Diem position offers flexible hours with start and end times that vary. Responsibilities include venipuncture, specimen collection for various tests, data entry, and patient service.

Travel to additional sites may be required. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent; preferred certification or training in phlebotomy and the ability to deliver exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
