Job summary

Labcorp in Mequon, WI seeks a Phlebotomist to join our patient-focused team. You will perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary methods for diverse age groups, collect specimens for drug screens and other tests, and enter data accurately in the system.

You will also assist with billing, prepare specimens for testing, and travel to additional sites as needed. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, independence with minimal supervision, and flexibility to support overtime

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program preferred.
• Color blindness testing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately into the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen logs and provide excellent customer service.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
