Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to work in Milwaukee, WI in a PRN/Per Diem capacity. The role involves performing blood collections, collecting specimens for various tests, and accurate data entry. Travel to multiple sites may be required to support patient care.

Responsibilities include ensuring patient service excellence, processing billing information, and maintaining logs. Applicants must have a high school diploma; phlebotomy certification or training is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program preferred.
• Valid driver\'s license and clean driving record.
• At least 21 years old.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
