Job summary

Labcorp seeks a dedicated Phlebotomist to join our Milwaukee team, delivering accurate specimen collection and compassionate patient service in a full-time, 2nd shift role. The position involves venipuncture, data entry, and collaboration across sites to support diagnostic testing.

Responsibilities include specimen prep, billing support, and travel to other Labcorp sites as needed. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with phlebotomy certification or training preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or training preferred.
• 6+ months experience as a phlebotomist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
