Job summary

Labcorp in Franklin, WI is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages. You will collect specimens, enter data, and assist with billing as needed.

The role is PRN/Per Diem with hours that vary and may travel to additional sites. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent; Phlebotomy certification or 6+ months of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
