Job summary

Kroger Co. is hiring a Pharmacist to support pharmacy operations in Virginia Beach. You will process RX orders, counsel patients and work closely with prescribers to ensure safe, compliant medication use.

As a Pharmacist, you will manage inventory, handle immunizations where trained, and coordinate with store leadership to meet department goals. This role requires flexibility to work at multiple locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Current Pharmacist license in the state of employment
• Graduate of a US School of Pharmacy or foreign equivalency
• NAPLEX exam passed
• Ability to work at various locations and travel
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical products and patient counseling

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates and customers
• Assist customers with product questions and prescriptions
• Receive, interpret, and process RX orders in compliance with laws
• Counsel patients and prescribers on medications
• Maintain accurate RX records and inventory, including controlled substances
• Provide immunizations to patients as trained and authorized
• Coordinate with store management and department staff on operations
