Job summary

The Kroger Co. is hiring a Pharmacist in Roanoke, VA to join our store pharmacy team. You will fill RX orders, counsel patients, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations while maintaining accurate records and inventory. This role emphasizes customer service, safety, and teamwork.

Qualified candidates hold an active Pharmacist license and have completed a US School of Pharmacy program; NAPLEX is required. Travel between store locations may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license in the employment state with no restrictions.
• Graduate of a US School of Pharmacy or equivalent foreign credential.
• NAPLEX exam successfully passed.
• Ability to work at multiple locations and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates and create welcoming environment for customers.
• Provide drug counseling to customers and prescribers and process RX orders accurately.
• Maintain proper RX records, inventory, and compliance with state/federal laws.
• Operate RX computer system and handle third-party billing where applicable.
• Assist with supervision and delegation of responsibilities to associates.
• Ensure safety, sanitation and accurate reporting of incidents per policy.
