Job summary

HealthSource of Ohio is seeking a Pharmacist dedicated to delivering quality healthcare to our patients and communities. You will read orders, dispense medications, perform data entry, and ensure accurate labeling and final verification of prescriptions, while maintaining a safe pharmacy environment.

You will provide patient counseling on medications and OTC products, with immunization certification and a Pharm.D. or BS in pharmacy.

Qualifications

• Immunization certification from an accredited organization is required.
• Pharmacy degree (Pharm.D. or B.S. in Pharmacy) from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• 1–2 years of professional experience in a pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medications by reading orders and prescriptions; enter prescription data, prepare labels, calculate quantities, count medications and verify final prescriptions.
• Anticipate medication and supply needs by placing and expediting orders, verifying receipts, and removing outdated drugs.
• Maintain a safe, clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Provide counseling to patients on prescriptions and OTC medications.
