Job summary

HealthSource of Ohio seeks a Pharmacist dedicated to delivering quality patient care in our on-site pharmacy in Batavia, OH. You will read prescriptions, dispense medications, provide patient counseling, and help maintain a safe, compliant pharmacy environment.

Requires a Pharm.D. or BS in Pharmacy and an Immunization Certification; 1–2 years of experience preferred. This is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Immunization certification is required or may be obtained.
• 1–2 years of pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medications by reading orders; enter prescriptions and label bottles.
• Anticipate medications and supplies by placing orders and verifying receipts.
• Maintain a safe, clean pharmacy by following procedures and regulations.
• Provide counseling to patients on prescriptions and OTC medications.

• Prepare and dispense medications by reading medication orders and prescriptions; preform data entry of prescriptions, preparing labels; calculating quantities;
  counting medications and labeling prescription bottles and completing final verification of prescriptions.
• Anticipates needed medications and supplies by placing and expediting orders, verifying receipts, and removing outdated drugs.
• Maintains a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Provide counseling to patients on their prescriptions and OTC medications.

Qualifications:

• Immunization Certification by accredited organization
• Pharm. D. or BS in pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy
• 1 to 2 years of experience
