Job summary

Envision Imaging is seeking a PRN Patient Service Representative to support our Mansfield and North Arlington centers. The role focuses on patient care and administrative tasks, including check-in/out, data entry, and billing-related activities. Pay range: $17.70–$21.30 per hour, PRN as-needed.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of customer service experience in healthcare, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. No travel required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience providing exceptional customer service (healthcare environment preferred).
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver and a team player.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced team environment.
• Ability to continuously exceed company and customer expectations.
• High School diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Answers inbound calls to the Center.
• Greets patients and providers warmly.
• Checks in/out patients and ensures proper documentation is received.
• Collects co-pays, co-insurance, and deductibles as necessary.
• Addresses patient, provider, and customer inquiries; communicates with PSR Lead/Area Manager as needed.
• Ensures accurate data entry for patient registration.
• Assists with medical records as needed.
• Keeps queues processed timely while adhering to processes and compliance.
• Manages eRIS Center workflow including schedule, billing, priors, delinquent exams, waitlist, reports, and TOS collection.
• Identifies carrier issues (out-of-network, plan limits).
• Monitors schedule and ensures all data/history are complete before exam.
• Reschedules and cancels appointments as needed.
• Monitors waiting room and assists patients as needed.
• Requests orders and processes new/same-day requests.
• Requests patient satisfaction surveys after exams.
• Other duties as assigned.
