Job summary

MedQuest Imaging, a trusted partner of Novant Health, is seeking dynamic individuals to join our team in Durham for a PRN Float front desk position at Durham Diagnostic Imaging. You will be the first point of contact for patients, referring physicians, and the public, handling check‑ins, scheduling, and billing-related tasks in a busy imaging center.

The role offers flexible shifts planned two weeks to a month in advance, designed to cover PTO and other coverage needs.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 0-2+ years experience in customer support or hospitality.
• Strong customer service background and professional written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors; serve as the initial point of contact.
• Answer phones, route calls, and schedule patient appointments.
• Collect balances from patients' financial responsibility at time of service and assist with front desk duties.
