Job summary

MedQuest Imaging in Winston-Salem, NC, is seeking a PRN Administrative Assistant to join a collaborative outpatient imaging team. You’ll be the first point of contact for patients, referring physicians, and the public, handling check-ins, calls, scheduling, and basic front desk duties to ensure a smooth patient experience.

The role offers flexible PRN hours with shifts planned two weeks to a month in advance, no overnight or on-call shifts, and a supportive environment with opportunities to grow

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0 - 2+ years of experience in a customer support or hospitality role.
• Strong customer service background and focus.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge and ability to perform accurately and efficiently on computer.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as the initial point of contact with patients, referring physicians, and the public on behalf of the imaging center.
• Welcome patients and visitors, check them in, and answer the telephone.
• Route calls and schedule patient appointments.
• Collect balances from patients’ financial responsibility at time of service.
• Perform front desk duties as necessary.
