Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation in Denton, TX seeks a Patient Service Specialist (PSS) - Float. This PRN/Per Diem role requires travel to multiple outpatient clinics and coverage within areas including Denton, Argyle, Coppell, The Colony, Aubrey, Prosper, Frisco, Grapevine, Southlake.

You will process referrals, schedule patients, intake, data entry, and verify insurance. Ideal candidates are organized, detail-oriented, flexible and able to work independently or with others.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance verification beneficial.
• Healthcare/medical or dental office administration experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process referrals, schedule patients, complete intake and data entry.
• Verify insurance and obtain required authorizations; explain benefits to patients.
• Collect copays and maintain billing reports; ensure clean claim processing.
