Job summary

Intuitive Health seeks a PRN Patient Access Advocate for days, nights, or afternoons in Evansville. Work at least 1 shift weekly, with self-scheduling to fit your availability. Be part of the start-up phase as Intuitive Health expands its combined ED/UC care model, delivering welcoming registration and patient-centered service.

You'll handle greeting, check-in/out, insurance verification and basic billing tasks, ensuring accurate data in the EHR and smooth patient flow across our clinics.

Qualifications

• Minimum typing speed of 50 wpm.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts.
• Effective communication skills.
• Strong collaboration with staff and patients.
• Patient-focused with strong service orientation.
• Technical capacity and comfort with office equipment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months in healthcare or 1 year in customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and handle check-in/check-out.
• Register patients and verify demographics and insurance.
• Collect co-pays and document registrations in the EHR.
• Provide wayfinding and high-level customer service.
• Answer phones and direct messages as needed.
• Maintain patient files and general clerical duties.
• Keep front desk and waiting areas clean and presentable.
• Follow HIPAA and company policies.
• Assist with scanning, copying and faxing documents.
• Support follow-up activities after visits.
